フクロウハウス "Hukuroh" House

イドバタにかわいいフクロウのお守りがやってきました。
　このフクロウは福島県の浪江町のおばあちゃんたちが手作りしています。おばあちゃん一人ひとりのセンスによって、端切れを組み合わせて作っているのでマスプロダクトには無い個性が一匹一匹にあります。別に作っている方はそういうことを考えているのではないと思いますが、20匹いる中から「これとこれは夫婦だね。」と言って買っていった人もいました。言われてみると夫婦だったらお似合いだなと思えるような2匹でした。
　この商品の売り上げは全額このフクロウを作っている「それいゆなみえ」というグループに届けられます。このグループは浪江町の仮設住宅に暮らしている高齢者や障碍者、その家族で構成されています。フクロウのお守り以外にも様々な布製品を手作りして、その売り上げを使ってグループでレクリエーションをしているそうです。

"Fukuroh" is "Owl" in English.
　These owls are good-luck charms made by members of the mutual-aid association for supporting a disabled person and elderly and their family in Namie-machi. Even they are the victims of the nuclear disaster in “Fukushima”.
　Since the accident (2011), they have been living in temporary housing.
　By co-work of making “Fukuroh” charms, the members have communication and their own reason of life. Also, they can do recreational activities of their association by these sales.
